From the DW brides bio

Knottiquette - By StLucia818

Hi girls! I'm posting this here so that I can reference to it in the forthcoming "Guide to DW Traditions & Etiquette" but it's also probably a good reminder for everyone. The information below was borrowed from this post by fijibabyk and I also added a couple things of my own. If you think of anything else, please feel free to add it below. Thanks!

• If you post a request to a knottie and they help you out with templates, info specifics or pics, please give them a shout out. A public thank you makes the knottie who helped you feel all warm and fuzzy, plus makes you highly likely to receive more help in the future.

• In the same note, if a knottie shares a template etc. with you, and you pass it on to other DW brides or post it in your bio, please be sure to give credit to the original knottie that it came from.

• If you decide to use another knottie's pictures in your bio, please credit them. And please be sure to save them to your computer and then upload them to your own photosharing account. Do not use their URL as it will use up their bandwidth.

• DDing is dirty deleting. It's basically the act of deleting a post (and all the responses from other knotties) if the post gets too hard to deal with or embarassing. It's also a big no no. But luckily, on this board there's not really that much drama, so even if you post something cringe-worthy, we'll all laugh with you, not just at you!!

• The search function rocks...templates for boarding passes, lists for OOT bag contents, details on where to get raffia fans and how to make siggies or bios are really good questions, but you'll often find out all the relevant info by using the search button (the little magnifying glass button). I'm not saying don't ask the questions, just a little bit of research sometimes saves having to wait for answers to be posted. You can also search posts and bios with Google using the code below, just change "boarding pass templates" to whatever you are looking for.

Finally, just remember the knot is a public board so anything you post will be out there for the world to see including family and co-workers so please use common sense when posting.
